Its chilly winter . I am feeling bored to cook and tired of old recipes too. So  wanted to try out something crazy or remix.  Mixed  palak and potato  and spicy curry is ready…

Ingredients :

Finely chopped spinach – 2 cups

Potato – 2

Onion -1

Turmeric powder – pinch

Red chillie powder – 1 tsp

Salt – as required

Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Curry leaves  – 2 sprigs

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Oil – 3 tbsp

Wash and finely chop the spinach. Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onions till they are soft and translucent.  Add turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste and saute for two minutes. Now add curry leaves, red chillie powder and potato cut into cubes and saute on medium heat . When the potatoes are half cooked add chopped spinach and salt as required and mix well. Cook on slow fire.  Usually there is no need to add any water. If needed you can add half a cup of water. When the potato and spinach are cooked and dry add garam masala and serve hot with rice or rotis.  Spicy curry is ready in very less time..
